Biography

Rita is a Student-at-Law at Trend Law Firm, supporting counsel across all practice areas. With a robust background in law, financial services and Indigenous advisory services in Canada and abroad, she is well equipped to serve clients of all backgrounds efficiently and compassionately. Rita is solutions-oriented, able to work through issues to develop the optimal solution.
Rita began her legal career with an LL.B earned at the University of Calabar, Nigeria, and then obtained an LL.M in International Commercial Law from the University of Sussex, UK. Prior to her articles, she was a paralegal in Family Law, Business Law, Corporate/Commercial Law and Real Estate Law.
Outside of work, Rita enjoys walks, spending time with family, various arts and culture activities. .
